Join us on Sunday, July 26, at 7:00 p.m. in beautiful Riverside Park for an enchanting evening of jazz that captures the thrill of victory and the spirit of sports. The swingiest version of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” ever heard centers this big band extravaganza. They were smoked out last week, so the trombone section featuring George Von Arx, Mark Glasel, Mark Lakman, and Tom Jensen will take the spotlight on "It's Not Polite To Point," which features a back-and-forth between players and sections. Everybody wins. Featured vocalist, Cathy Reitz, will enter the spy game with “Nobody Does It Better” and the Damn Yankees Musical feature “Whatever Lola Wants.” Trumpet Jon Ailabouni will sizzle in the heat with the sprint version of “Old Man River.” The La Crosse Jazz Orchestra invites jazz enthusiasts and newcomers alike to enjoy this celebration through the universal language of music.
